Job summary

American Geriatrics Society in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time role works evenings from 3:00pm to 3:30am, with every third weekend and rotating holidays. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Nursing, be licensed in Illinois, and have CPR, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS within three months.

The position offers shift premiums and benefits. You will provide professional nursing care and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Illinois RN licensure required.
• CPR Certification required; ACLS, PALS and NIHSS within 3 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per the Illinois RNP Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, plan, implement and evaluate care; monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and collaborate with the care team.
