Job summary

Ochsner Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at St. Anne on a PRN basis.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in the practice state, with BLS and critical care certifications in place or within designated timelines. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• CPI Certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse needs.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources.
• Utilizes data to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
