Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or comparable experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific nursing care.
• Document accurately and legibly in medical records.
• Monitor signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders for nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Collect labs and perform testing per policy and regulations.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Engage in admission, discharge and transfer processes.
• Contribute to assessment, planning, and evaluation of care.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures as needed.
