Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Emergency Services with responsibilities spanning assessment, planning, and coordination of patient care. The role collaborates with physicians, families, and the health care team to ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Days, 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts, may include weekends. Prior ER or ICU nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN ER or ICU experience preferred.
• Graduate of a nursing program with active licensure.
• Current nursing license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates care delivery.
• Analyzes information to determine nursing diagnoses and patient needs.
• Uses the nursing process to evaluate progress and apply interventions.
• Promotes health and a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
