Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide immediate assessment, triage, and care for patients with urgent conditions. You will administer medications and document care while collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

You will recognize life-threatening situations, perform CPR when needed, and maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• ACLS, PALS, TNNC Certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate assessment, triage, and care for patients presenting to the Emergency Department with urgent and emergent conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and procedures while monitoring patient response and documenting care accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, high quality patient care.
• Recognize and respond rapidly to life threatening situations, performing CPR and initiating emergency protocols as necessary.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and Joint Commission requirements.
• Utilize appropriate equipment and technology safely and effectively.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions, promoting understanding and continuity of care.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement activities, staff meetings, and ongoing education.
• Support the orientation and mentoring of new staff and students as assigned.
• Behave and dress in a professional and courteous manner consistent with the facilities Standards of Behavior.
