Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Registered with the ARRT.
• CPR certification.
• Current State licensure from TDH.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as directed by the Radiologist.
• Position patients on exam tables and adjust immobilization devices for optimal views.
• Set exposure factors (time, distance) and adjust equipment controls per protocols.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients, and families to ensure quality care.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to hospital policies and ER guidelines.
