Job summary

Qualifications

• Active license as RN, LCSW, or LICSW in Rhode Island.
• At least 5 years of Psychiatric experience.
• Must have greater than 2 years management experience, preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric emergency and triage preferred.
• Knowledge of Milliman Criteria and InterQual Criteria preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medical necessity, case management regulations in discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Initiate triage of psychiatric emergencies in the ED.
• Coordinate admission/disposition with attending psychiatrist.
• Oversee medical necessity review and utilization management.
• Support discharge planning and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
