Job summary

USGP seeks an experienced physician to provide emergency medical care to service members and their families at the Fort Bragg, NC ER. You will deliver urgent care in a high-paced environment, with responsibilities including trauma and critical care management.

Residency trained/board certified in Emergency Medicine is preferred; non-certified physicians may be considered. Must hold NC license and DEA registration; 1099 contract position with malpractice coverage and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active BLS, ACLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
• 3 years ER physician experience within the last 3 years.
• Residency trained/board certified in Emergency Medicine or board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to service members and their families in the ER at Fort Bragg, NC.
• Work overnight shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree/Education: Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy
• (DO).
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: An active BLS, ACLS, ALS, and PALS through the American Heart Association
• Experience: 3 years of experience as an ER Physician within the last 3 years (Residency training will qualify as experience!)
• Board Certification: Residency Trained/Board Certified (BP/BC) or

Residency Trained/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. Non-Residency Trained/Board Certified physicians will be considered, but are not preferred.

• Licensure/Registration: Must have a valid NC State License to practice medicine and a current DEA Certificate or Controlled Drug Substance Number
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a federal background check
• Must be able to work overnights. Full-time availability is preferred but not required
