Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a pharmacist to participate in all clinical pharmacy services and support distributive pharmacy operations. The role focuses on safe, cost-effective therapies for patients across age groups, with emphasis on development and maintenance of clinical programs.

Education includes a BS or PharmD; licensure in OK is required. A PGY1 residency and hospital experience are preferred, with a sign-on bonus of $20,000 and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency or equivalent (preferred, not required).
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensed pharmacist in OK in good standing; preceptor license required upon hire.
• Board certification in related area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage ACGME accreditation reporting requirements.
• Enhance pharmacy processes to improve patient safety and outcomes.
