Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to support clinical and distributive services and ensure optimal patient care across all ages. You will develop, implement, and maintain programs that promote safe, cost-effective therapies while complying with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications include a PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, active OK pharmacist licensure, and preferably ASHP PGY1 residency and hospital clinical experience. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Hospital-based clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain preceptor license with OK Board of Pharmacy on hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship required on hire.
• Board-certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, cost-effective therapies for patients.
• Participate in targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense meds per policies and regs.
• Administer ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Improve pharmacy processes to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
