Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred hospital clinical pharmacy experience.
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the state board.
• Preceptor license required to maintain upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency preceptorship expected upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area strongly encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental clinical programs and supports targeted initiatives.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of accreditation/reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
