Norman Regional Health System in Kansas is seeking a pharmacist to join our clinical and distributive pharmacy teams. The role ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective therapies and supports ongoing clinical programs.

Responsibilities include processing and dispensing medications per policies, contributing to education, and improving safety and outcomes, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Preceptor license maintained with the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Administer ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the department's educational goals.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
