Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a licensed pharmacist to contribute to both clinical and distributive pharmacy services. You will ensure safe, cost-effective therapies and participate in clinical programs across age groups.

The position emphasizes adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and educational involvement, with a strong focus on patient safety and outcomes in a hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain preceptor license with the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department and enhance pharmacy processes for patient safety and outcomes.
