Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist for hospital-based clinical and distributive services to ensure safe, cost-effective therapies across all age groups. The role supports development and maintenance of several pharmacy programs aligned with patient outcomes.

Will participate in departmental clinical programs, process orders per policies, and contribute to education. Offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
