Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our clinical and distributive pharmacy teams. You will dispense medications, participate in clinical programs, and help maintain safe, cost-effective therapy for all patients.

The role supports education and the development of pharmacy processes, adheres to regulatory requirements, and strives to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
