Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma seeks a licensed Pharmacist to join our clinical pharmacy team. You will participate in clinical and distributive services, ensure safe, cost-effective therapies, and support program development to improve patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes adherence to policies, ongoing education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. A BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and current licensure are required; PGY1 residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited college (BS in Pharmacy or PharmD).
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the state Board.
• ASHP PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Hospital clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Preceptor license maintained per board requirements.
• Board certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Process orders and dispense medications per established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department and clinical programs.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
