Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive clinical and distributive pharmacy services across patient care teams. The role supports safe, cost-effective therapies and aligns with department programs and regulatory requirements.

In addition to a strong clinical focus, the position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus with relocation assistance, competitive hourly wages, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent (preferred).
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensed as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in educational goals of the department and contribute to clinical programs.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
