Job summary
Norman Regional Health System seeks a pharmacist to provide clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for all patients and supporting department programs. The candidate should hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with licensure in good standing and ASHP PGY1 residency if possible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency or equivalent preferred.
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Active OK State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
- Preceptor license required with OK Board of Pharmacy.
- Board certification in related practice area encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
- Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
- Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulations.
- Maintain ACGME accreditation reporting to external agencies.
- Contribute to educational goals of the department.
- Improve pharmacy processes to enhance safety and outcomes.
