Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for all patients. You will support program development and compliance with regulatory requirements daily.

The role emphasizes clinical care within a hospital setting, licensure maintenance, and potential pathway to preceptorship and board certification, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the state Board.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the state Board upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
