Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency preferred but not required.
Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
Active pharmacist licensure in good standing.
Preceptor license required upon hire and maintained.
Board certification encouraged in related practice area.

Responsibilities

Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
Participate in departmental clinical programs and regulatory reporting.
Process orders and dispense medications per policies and procedures.
Contribute to educational goals of the department.
Improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety of pharmacy processes.
