Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens based on biomedical literature.
• Provides patient education and counseling to patients and caregivers on therapy, adverse effects, and proper use.
• Reviews medication orders and prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities within the department.
• Precepts pharmacy students, residents, and learners as assigned.
• Directs and checks the work of pharmacy support staff to ensure safe workflows.
