Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a hospital-based clinical pharmacist to ensure safe, cost-effective therapies for patients and support clinical programs across the department.

The role emphasizes adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and involvement in education and process improvements to enhance patient outcomes. A PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with current licensure is required; PGY1 residency and board certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: PGY1 residency preferred but not required; hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• License: Pharmacist license in good standing with state board; preceptor license required.
• Desirable: ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship; board certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in targeted clinical programs and departmental initiatives.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
