Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in all clinical pharmacy services and support distributive operations. The role focuses on safe, cost-effective therapies, adherence to policies, and contributing to departmental programs to improve patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates will hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with ASHP PGY1 residency preferred but not required; licensure in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
