Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a licensed pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe and cost-effective therapies for all patients. Responsibilities include processing orders, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to departmental education and program development.

Preferred candidates have ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency experience and hospital pharmacy background. A $20,000 sign-on with relocation support is available.

Qualifications

Pharmacist licensure in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
Maintain preceptor license through OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.

Responsibilities

Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies.
Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in clinical programs and support departmental initiatives.
Enhance accuracy and efficiency of pharmacy processes to improve patient outcomes.
Contribute to educational goals of the department.
Support development and maintenance of clinical and distributive pharmacy programs.
