Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Pharmacist for our hospital-based pharmacy program. The role supports clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe and cost-effective therapies for patients across all ages.

The incumbent will participate in targeted clinical programs, process medication orders, and help maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Candidates should have a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with ASHP PGY1 preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Licensure: Pharmacist license in good standing with OK State Board of Pharmacy and maintain preceptor license.
• Board certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs and manage regulatory requirements.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies and protocols.
• Educate and contribute to departmental goals and education.
• Enhance pharmacy processes to improve patient safety and outcomes.
