Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to participate in clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for all patients. The role supports program development, policy adherence, and education within a hospital setting.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: Preferred completion of a ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
