Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH is seeking an Emergency Room EMT Patient Care Technician to join our team on full-time night shifts, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will support Registered Nurses with vital signs, mobility and personal care, help maintain infection control, and keep patient areas stocked. Excellent teamwork and compassionate care are essential to our mission to improve lives.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• High School Graduate / GED required.
• AEMT-State, CNA, or EMT credentials may be required.
• For EMT, active NREMT certification and NH EMT license; for PCT/LNA, active NH LNA license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
