Christian Hospital in Florissant, MO, part of BJC HealthCare, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will support ADLs, document vital signs, and help maintain a safe, healing environment on a busy hospital unit.

This 36-hour-per-week position offers midshift hours (11am–11pm) with holiday and weekend rotation. CNA certification is required; benefits are provided through BJC Total Rewards.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license preferred.

Mansioni

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, promoting patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Administers or assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), performs vital signs, intake & output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention measures, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy, or point of care testing as requested.
• Collects clinical data and information on patients, and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education. Documents all patient care activities with correct medical terminology.
