Job summary

Ascension in Mequon, WI seeks a part-time, day-shift Nurse Aide to deliver essential patient care and assist with daily activities in the Emergency Department. The role requires BLS certification and Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry credentials before hire, with additional locational certs possible.

You will collaborate with the nursing staff to monitor patients, document vitals, and ensure safety during movement and exams, while maintaining a clean, well-equipped environment.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification (AHA/Red Cross accepted) required within 1 month of hire.
• Nurse Aide credential from Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry required before hire.
• Additional certifications may be required by location.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with daily living activities.
• Notify nursing staff of any clinical changes promptly.
• Document care and vital signs accurately for the care team.
