Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital is seeking an ER Tech to join the Emergency Department. This full-time position supports RNs, provides direct patient care, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment for patients of all ages in a busy 64-bed ED.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, specimen collection, and accurate documentation. Education required includes a HS diploma or GED with direct care experience or related coursework; 12-hour shifts are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of previous direct care experience (acute or long-term) or successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Training is provided to prepare colleagues for success.
• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation, and feeding/menu selection.
• Collect and send specimens, including blood and blood cultures; record patient information and required data for documentation.
