Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is actively seeking an Emergency Department Technician to assist in a high‑volume ED in Illinois. Shifts are 7p–7a with every third weekend rotation, working under RN and physician supervision to monitor and care for patients.

Qualifications

• Current EMT P license without restrictions or EMT B within at least one (1) year relative experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of the Emergency Nurse (RN) and Physician; perform assessments and report findings.
• Administer treatments and procedures within scope; monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety.
