Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an ER Technician to deliver supportive patient care across assigned areas. You will collect vitals, specimens, and help with lab testing while ensuring safety and privacy in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires active EMT/paramedic credentials or RN-school enrollment with hospital experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS certs, and ability to travel between facilities. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED with one of the listed medical programs or nursing enrollment.
• EMT-Paramedic/Advanced EMT or Licensed Paramedic with experience.
• EMT-B with ER experience or CNA with hospital experience in certain markets.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data and vital signs per policy.
• Collect specimens and perform lab testing per COLA/CLIA rules.
• Assist with patient activities and care as per plan of care.
• Ensure patient safety and privacy; provide aseptic technique and infection control.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Prepare patients and chaperone during examinations or procedures; maintain supplies.
• Attend required meetings; travel to facility locations as needed.
