Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Paramedic to deliver high‑quality emergency care in a Magnet Hospital setting. You will assess, stabilize and treat patients in a fast-paced ED, performing essential life support, monitoring and patient transport.

The role requires EMS-Paramedic certification, Ohio EMTP licensure, and BLS/ACLS; PALS is preferred on hire or within one year. This PRN position may include variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited EMS-Paramedic training program.
• Current EMTP licensure in Ohio.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per AHA/Red Cross.
• PALS certification on hire or within 1 year in ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency treatment including ALS in the ED.
• Assess patients and stabilize conditions.
• Perform EKGs, CPR, phlebotomy and suctioning as needed.
• Initiate cardiac monitoring and oxygen therapy.
• Transport patients and maintain equipment and supplies.
