Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL seeks an ED Paramedic PRN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within the ED. You will gather data, monitor vitals, administer medications, and ensure safety under physician/RN supervision in a fast-paced trauma center.

Eligible candidates are Florida-licensed paramedics with ACLS/BLS/PALS, CPI training, and ideally 1 year of field or hospital experience. No travel required; benefits include comprehensive coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of approved Paramedic program.
• Current State of Florida Paramedic License.
• American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• CPI training for Behavioral Health.
• One year experience as Paramedic in field or hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height/weight, intake/output, and document data.
• Perform safe patient handling, transfers, and positioning.
• Provide patient care under physician/RN in accordance with orders and policy.
• Facilitate patient transfer to floors and manage patient flow.
• Accurately document care in patient records in a timely manner.
• Identify changes in patient condition and report to supervising staff.
• Administer medications per hospital policy and practice guidelines.
• Take reports from EMS.
