Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain paramedic licensure with the State of Tennessee. CPR required.
• One (1) year of continuous experience as an EMT-P.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as assigned under the direction of an RN or physician.
• Performs ongoing patient observations per patient acuity and reports changes to RN.
• Follows plan of care and medical orders in collaboration with RN.
• Demonstrates infection control practices and safety standards.
• Participates in unit quality assurance activities and assists in orienting new staff.
