Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO, seeks a paramedic to assist ED staff, set up for patient exams, stock supplies, and perform procedures under physician direction. The role includes IV starts, airway management, and cardiovascular monitoring within trained scope.

Scheduled full-time at 36 hours per week, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with weekend rotations and a $1.50/hour weekend differential when applicable. EEO/disabled/veterans, drug-free environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Paramedic certification or license within the state of practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification is required; PALS is required in ED or with pediatric population.
• Experience: 2–4 years in relevant work or 12–18 months in an educational program.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and providers with tasks in the ED, set up for patient exams and stock supplies.
• Perform procedures, administer or monitor medications as ordered within scope.
• Start IVs, monitor fluids, and manage airway per state guidelines and orders.
• Provide cardio-vascular monitoring and resuscitation for critical patients.
• Document assessments, progress and discharge plans per unit guidelines.
• Communicate patient status with charge nurse and physicians; coordinate care.
