Virginia Commonwealth University Health is seeking a Paramedic to join the Adult Emergency Department in Richmond. This role provides advanced in-hospital emergency care under supervision, supports trauma and critical care resuscitations, and helps ensure rapid patient turnover and throughput.

The ideal candidate holds current Virginia EMT-P/Paramedic certification and AHA ACLS; PALS or equivalent within 90 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-P/Paramedic certification/licensure in Virginia.
• AHA ACLS Certification.
• AHA PALS Certification or equivalent within 90 days of hiring.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced in-hospital emergency care under supervision of a licensed physician, medical director, and manager.
• Support trauma and critical care resuscitations and airway management preparation.
• Help ensure rapid room turnover and patient throughput.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe clinical environment.
