VCU Health’s Adult Emergency Department seeks an experienced Paramedic to join a high-volume, Level I trauma center team in Richmond, VA. You will provide advanced in-hospital emergency care under physician supervision and support rapid room turnover and patient throughput.

The role emphasizes strong clinical judgment, meticulous documentation, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care around the clock.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-P/Paramedic certification/licensure in Virginia.
• AHA ACLS Certification required.
• Successful completion of an accredited EMT-P/Paramedic course.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced in-hospital emergency care under physician supervision.
• Support trauma and critical care resuscitations and airway management.
• Ensure rapid room turnover and patient throughput.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide comfort and nutritional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and accurate data documentation.
