Job summary

Emplify Health by Bellin in Green Bay, WI is seeking a coding professional to perform ER and Observation coding for patient encounters. This full-time role collaborates with providers and other health system departments to ensure accurate coding and efficient documentation.

Qualified candidates hold an associate degree in health information technology with coding experience and are RHIT- eligible or hold CCS-P/CPC/CCA certification, with CPT/ICD-10-CM proficiency and strong customer service

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical records technology, health information technology, or related field with coding experience.
• Current coding certification or eligibility with certification within six months of hire.
• Experience with CPT/ICD-10-CM; knowledge of insurance coding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Code patient encounters with a focus on ER and Observation coding.
• Collaborate with providers and health system departments to ensure accurate coding.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding requirements and ensure high quality customer service.
