Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as an RN including 1 year as a charge nurse or frontline leader.
• BSN degree required for Magnet Facilities; RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; strong knowledge of nursing practice and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of care and patient satisfaction through unit-specific systems and improvements.
• Manage budgets, performance data, reporting, and inventory to ensure operational profitability.
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and communicate with patients, families and staff.
• Develop, retain and inspire an engaged nursing workforce and lead the unit effectively.
