Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications required or within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families and groups.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources and serves as a leader within the interdisciplinary team.
• Utilizes data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Embrace practices that improve customer satisfaction and employee morale in nursing.
• Adapts behavior to the patient population with respect for privacy and appropriate communication.
• Performs other related duties as required.
