Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS required for Telemetry, ICU, and PCU; chemo is needed for Post-Surg within the first year.
• Active Kansas RN licensure is required.
• Minimum of 2-year nursing degree.
• Certifications must be completed within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for defined patient populations under RN direction.
• Assess patient/family needs, set goals, evaluate care, and revise care plan as required.
• Delegate tasks to support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and maintain professional standards.
