Job summary

Corewell Health’s Gerber Hospital in Fremont, MI, seeks a Nurse Technician to join the Emergency Center team. You will support patient care under RN supervision, including vitals, daily activities, and wound care, contributing to high-quality, relationship-based care for our patients and families.

The role offers full-time hours with a 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shift, variable days, and every third weekend. Veterans and new grads are welcome; comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and monitor patient status.
• Check blood sugars and assist with daily activities.
• Provide bed baths, ambulation, and wound care.
• Assist with catheterization and safety monitoring.
• Maintain a clean environment and report equipment issues.
