Job summary

The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate and current RN license. Advanced certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS are expected, with initial certifications or renewals as required. A collaborative, patient-centered approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and an accredited nursing program.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required (or obtained within specified period).
• Experience in acute/ specialty care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a designated specialty unit per scope of practice.
• Effectively delegate tasks to ancillary personnel as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and engagement in care.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition and referrals.
