Job summary
Lawrence Healthcare in Arkansas is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide professional care for a group of ED patients, following the nursing process in collaboration with the health team. You will triage safely, rapidly, and accurately upon entry and communicate changes in patient status to ED physicians.
The role requires an Arkansas RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NIHSS within specified timeframes and TNCC within one year.
Qualifications
- Must hold Arkansas RN license in good standing.
- Must have BLS on hire.
- ACLS, PALS, NIHSS within 90 days. TNCC within 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional care using the nursing process in collaboration with the health team.
- Triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately on entry to the ED.
- Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs and patient flow.
- Communicate status changes and diagnostic results with ED physicians.
