Job summary

St. Bernards Healthcare in Pocahontas, AR seeks an Emergency Department nurse to provide high-quality care for acutely ill and injured patients.

Under general supervision, you will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, implement, and evaluate care, with emphasis on rapid triage and prioritization of life-threatening conditions. The role requires maintaining current State license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC credentials, and preferably one year of ER experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current nursing license in good standing.
• Maintains BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire, TNCC within 1 year of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
• Master triage and rapid assessment to prioritize injuries by medical need.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Care for patients with life-threatening conditions and monitor evolving conditions.
