Job summary

Henderson Hospital is seeking a per diem RN to provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and standards. The role includes professional leadership for the healthcare team and adherence to Patient Centered Care foundations.

Supervisory duties and demonstration of service excellence are integral parts of the position. Qualifications include Nevada RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and pediatric-ready PALS or NRP as required by the department.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Nevada.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required for adult patients.
• PALS or NRP certification for pediatric patients as required by department.
• Specialty training or coursework may be required by facility or department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Demonstrates professional leadership and supports the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; adheres to Service Excellence standards.
