Job summary

Henderson Hospital, part of Universal Health Services in Henderson, NV, is seeking a per diem registered nurse to join the inpatient care team. You will provide safe, competent nursing care, act as a professional leader, and support the healthcare team in line with patient-centered care principles.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Nevada RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS or NRP as required by department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent.
• One (1) year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification (Adult patients). Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
