Job summary

Henderson Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to provide safe and competent care in accordance with facility policies. The role emphasizes professional leadership, supporting the healthcare team, and adherence to Service Excellence standards.

Applicants must hold a Nevada RN license with current BLS, ACLS (adult), and PALS or NRP as required by the department. BSN preferred and one year of acute care experience or a certified specialty course is

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent.
• BSN preferred.
• One (1) year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification (Adult patients).
• Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
