The role emphasizes timely communication, evidence-based practice, and education of patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps in a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, ENPC, NIH Stroke Scale requirements within specified timelines.
• RN licensure and state-specific requirements are essential to practice.
• ATCN and TNCC expected within stated timeframes.
• Minimum education: Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with providers and care team to ensure comprehensive assessments and plans.
• Documents care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Educates patients/families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Advocates for patients/families and supports the organization’s mission and outcomes.
